I wasn't sure if I would be signing up for the Bout of Books Read-A-Thon 13.0 or not as May is a busy month for me between Mother's Day, my mom's birthday and my birthday and other things that always seem to come up during the month of May... But I've decided to participate in this round after all!! Yippee!!!
Below is the official blurb Bout of Books Read-A-Thon 13.0:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 13 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books teamI'm so glad that the Bout of Books Read-A-Thon is a low pressure read-a-thon... I have decided to set some reading goals for this read-a-thon. My goal is to finish listening to the audio version of Innocent In Death by J. D. Robb, to finish reading Duplicity by N. K. Traver and to read graphic novel Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi.
Even though Bout of Books Read-A-Thon 13.0 starts tomorrow, there's still time to sign up for Bout of Books Read-A-Thon 13.0 through Tuesday, May 12th!!
Good luck! I am participating in Bout of Books too. I am trying not to have too many goals. I just want to read as much as I can. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying not to have too many goals either this round of Bout of Books as I am unable to devote as much time as I would like to reading this week with other things I need to accomplish this week. I just want to read as much as I can too... Who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and read more than I expect too!!
DeleteGood luck to you as well during this round of Bout of Books. Happy reading!!
Good luck! Tell us what you'll be reading!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you as well and happy reading!!
DeleteI mentioned my reading goals in the above post.... My reading goals are to finish listening to the audio version of Innocent In Death by J. D. Robb, to finish reading Duplicity by N. K. Traver and to read graphic novel Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi.
Oops! I missed that. I must've seen the blurb and thought that was part of it. An audio book is a good idea, because that way you can 'read' while doing other things like driving or cooking. Good luck!
DeleteNo worries!! I hope you're having fun reading this week so far!!
DeleteI am! I hope you are, too!
DeleteI'm enjoying the read-a-thon so far. I've finished 2 audiobooks and am starting another one later today. Plus I've had fun participating in 3 of the read-a-thon challenges.
DeleteGood luck! I'm participating, too, trying not to be too hard on myself as I doubt I'm going to have as much time as I thought.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get back into the In Death series, I think I'm on book 18. Whew.
Happy reading to you as well this week in Bout of Books 13.0... Hopefully, you'll find more time to read than you think/expect!
DeleteInnocent In Death is only my 2nd read in the In Death series!! I haven't read them in any kind of order... I read my 1st In Death book before I even knew it was an entire series... I was hooked after reading Midnight In Death!! In ended up finding a few of the In Death books at a library book sale and am hoping to squeeze them in with all my other reads.
Glad to see you're participating this time! I haven't been able to manage it the last couple of times, so I'm excited to be back in the game!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are able to participate in this round of BOB too!! Happy reading!!
