Which new to you authors have you read books by this year?
Great list! I love Judy Blume. She is such a favorite from my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I never read Judy Blume's books when I was growing up!! I was aware of her novels when I was a kid, but just never read one of them and I am not sure why!!
DeleteOh nice! Those are still some new to me authors. Though I know of Judy Blume at least!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Judy Blume is definitely a must read author... I'm just surprised it's taken me so long to read any of her novels.
DeleteJudy Blume of course, I'm not as familiar with the others although one or two sound familiar. It's amazing how many authors there are to discover!
ReplyDeleteYes, there are so many authors to discover!! My list of new to me authors keeps growing.
DeleteWhen I was in elementary school we were assigned a few Judy Blume books to read in English class (I believe the ones in the Fudge series). Which book(s) introduced you to Judy Blume this year?
ReplyDeleteLet's see, I read three of Judy Blume's novels this year as follows: Are you there, God? It's me, Margaret, Forever, and Starring Sally J. Freedman As Herself.
DeleteJudy Blume is the only author from your list I have read. I can't wait to introduce my daughter to her books when she's older. Phyllis T. Smith is one I have been curious about. I am not familiar with the other authors you mention, but am off to look them up.
ReplyDeleteIf you like historical fiction, then I think you'll love Phyllis T. Smith's I Am Livia.
DeleteOf course I am aware of Judy Blume but other than that, Suzanne Brockman is the only other author I am aware of. I read a book by her years ago and loved it...Born to Darkness. It was the beginning of a series but I don't believe any others ever came out. Hmmm...I might have to check.
ReplyDeleteI listened to the audio version of Hot Target by Suzanne Brockman and loved it.
DeleteI've still never read a Judy Blume book! Lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Happy reading!!

DeleteI don't recognize anyone other than Judy Blume. Did you read her older books or In the Unlikely Event? I just reviewed that on my blog: http://www.momsradius.com/2015/12/book-review-in-unlikely-event.html. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Summer Sisters is probably my favorite Judy Blume book.
ReplyDeleteEarlier this year I went to a book festival in the SF Bay area and saw Judy Blume speaking at a live event about her new novel, In the Likely Event. I was able to have her autograph my copy of In the Likely Event at the event, which was cool. But I have yet to read this book yet.
DeleteOMG. I haven't read ANY of these people!! I probably going to have a panic list scrawled out. All of the lists I've read this morning, are filled with authors I haven't read yet! I'll follow you via GFC. For any other comment writers here's my post

ReplyDeleteI adored Judy Blume in my younger years! Oh, and I definitely want to try the Caught Up in Me Series by Lauren Blakely....that cover always sticks in my head since it's the same couple from The Lux Series aka my favorite series ever. :) Great list!
