Compass Books Store Front in Terminal 2 @ SFO |
For the Thanksgiving holiday this year, I flew down to San Diego to spend it with my parents. I departed for San Diego out of the San Francisco International Airport. After passing through the TSA checkpoint in Terminal 2, I discovered the Compass Books store front!!
Wow, what a lovely bookstore! Compass Books is one of the best airport bookstores I've ever come across, not that I fly all that often. It's a fairly large airport bookstore filled with a diverse selection of the latest book releases and older releases as well --- plus magazines, cards and postcards. I enjoyed interacting with the friendly staff member on hand during my brief visit. Additionally, I enjoyed seeing the staff recommendations for books.

Next time you're flying in or out of the San Francisco International Airport, I encourage avid readers and book lovers alike to make a visit to Compass Books in Terminal 2!
Please share with me, your favorite airport bookstore!
Until my next post, happy reading!!
I don't really have a favorite airport bookstore because I usually have my reading material picked already. Of course I never let that stop me when I see other bookstores so maybe I should change that habit. haha
ReplyDeleteLike you, I usually have my reading material on hand for flights. Also like you, I can't pass up browsing though a bookstore.
DeleteThat's actually a pretty big book store for an airport. I try avoiding bookstores when I'm flying in fear that I might buy too many and not be allowed to bring them with me in the airplane.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!! I hear you about possibly buying too many books and perhaps NOT being allowed to bring them on the plane, lol!!
DeleteI'm like that too when it comes to buying souvenirs. I'm too afraid that I'll buy too much that I'll either be charged for extra luggage or won't be allowed in the plane.
