So true although censoring and challenging books often gives them more promotion and thus more readers than all the marketing in the world. I read The Hate U Give last year because it was one of the top most challenged books on the ALA list!
Yes, I agree that highlighting these books does promote readership. Books that are challenged usually have very important things to share with readers.
