Top Ten Tuesday --- Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

    1. Judy Blume is definitely a must read author... I'm just surprised it's taken me so long to read any of her novels.

  3. Judy Blume of course, I'm not as familiar with the others although one or two sound familiar. It's amazing how many authors there are to discover!

  5. Judy Blume is the only author from your list I have read. I can't wait to introduce my daughter to her books when she's older. Phyllis T. Smith is one I have been curious about. I am not familiar with the other authors you mention, but am off to look them up.

  6. Of course I am aware of Judy Blume but other than that, Suzanne Brockman is the only other author I am aware of. I read a book by her years ago and loved it...Born to Darkness. It was the beginning of a series but I don't believe any others ever came out. Hmmm...I might have to check.

  13. I don't recognize anyone other than Judy Blume. Did you read her older books or In the Unlikely Event? I just reviewed that on my blog: http://www.momsradius.com/2015/12/book-review-in-unlikely-event.html. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Summer Sisters is probably my favorite Judy Blume book.

    1. Earlier this year I went to a book festival in the SF Bay area and saw Judy Blume speaking at a live event about her new novel, In the Likely Event. I was able to have her autograph my copy of In the Likely Event at the event, which was cool. But I have yet to read this book yet.
