  2. Daughter of Smoke and Bone, ah that hype. I liked Fangirl! I totally recommend it! And wow *smacks head* how could I forget Splintered?? It sounds amazing!

  3. There are a lot of these that I plan to read! I want to get to The Coldest Girl in Coldtown maybe someday, but I read a short story on it in The Poison Eaters and Other Short Stories by Holly Black, and if the novel has the same feel as the short story I don't think I'll go for it right away.

  4. I've only read Fangirl but it was just an 'okay' read for me. I also wanted to read Splintered but I don't have a copy of it yet. :)

Thanks for dropping by my TTT, Lisa! :)

  5. I read Daughters of Smoke and Bone - long and wild but I enjoyed it. However, not sure I would read any more of the series. A little too high fantasy for me. Beauty Queens was very interesting.

  6. These Broken Stars is AMAZING! Read it! I also loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Splintered. I did not enjoy The Coldest Girl in Cold Town, but I normally like Holly Black. I had to make myself finish it. I've heard really good things about The Martian. Fangirl is on my list, too!

  7. There are a few on your list that I still need to read, too. I must say, though, that Daughter of Smoke and Bone is pretty amazeballs, and I cannot recommend its audio version enough. Khristine Hvam is genius!

  8. Oh I haven't read any of these books either! o: Nice list!

  11. I read Daughter of smoke and bone last month and sadly i while i thought it was good i was a bit disappointed in that book series because to me the author didn't do it as well as she could have done it. I am interesting to hear what you think about it when you get to it :)
I also can't wait to get to Bossypants, Fangirl and the Martian.
    Great list :)

  12. Daughter of Smoke & Bone is worth the hype, though. I read it after the first book had been out for a while and I'd seen it everywhere. Actually, the whole series is pretty strong; it's one of my favourite trilogies.

  13. I've read Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me and really enjoyed it. Beauty Queens is awesome too! Happy reading!

Check out my my Top Ten Tuesday!

  14. I haven't read any book on your list apart from Fangirl which I feel was an okay book . Great Post

  15. I loved Fangirl, Beauty Queens, and The Martian. In fact, I just finished The Martian a few days ago. I really, really loved it! Did you see the trailer that recently came out? I'll definitely be seeing that film. Anyway, I've read Daughter of Smoke and Bone as well as These Broken Stars, but I didn't fall in love with those two. I've been wanting to read Bossypants and Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me, but just haven't prioritized them.

  16. Fangirl is a really good book! :)
I've heard of a few of these other ones too.
I have Splintered on my TBR.

  17. The Martian is supposed to be really good but I'm not into scifi anymore. I'm planning to read Splintered, though.

  18. Splintered seems like an interesting book! I haven't read any of these books though.

Thanks for stopping by my post. Happy reading!

  19. You HAVE TO read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown! Holly Black is just as awesome in that book as always. :)

  20. Oh I forgot to put Splintered on my list! I do really want to read that!

  21. Fangirl is a fav of mine!! I read it one night and cried like a baby. I also want to read Beauty Queens. It's been on my list for a loooong time. And The Martian sounds really cool! Great list. Thanks for stopping by mine :)

  22. Several of these books are books I would like to read at some point. I do recommend Bossypants. I listened to the audio version and just loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I've only read 4, 5, and 6 from your list and I love them all :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. The only ones I've read are Daughter of Smoke and Bone and These Broken Stars, and both are very good! I LOVED the world of DoSaB and adored the romance in TBS.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've not read Beauty Queens or The Coldest Girl in Coldtown either! I've had a copy of Beauty Queens for years, I just never seem to have time to read it. LOL! Great list!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I keep hearing of The Martian. Guess I'm going to have to check it out.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The only books I've read in your list are Fangirl The Martian. I love The Martian, it's really good and I can't wait to see the movie.
By the way, you misspelled the author's name wrong, it's supposed to be Amie Kaufman instead of Anny Kaufman.
Thanks for dropping by on my blog. :D

  28. I really enjoyed Splintered! I liked Fangirl but didn't love it like everyone else seemed to.

  29. There are some really incredible books on your list! Particular favourites are 'Beauty Queens', 'The Coldest Girl in Coldtown', 'Heist Society' and 'Daughter of Smoke and Bone' - I loved all of them. I hope you enjoy them if you pick them up!

  30. The only one I've read on your list, Fangirl, was not my favorite RR. I tried Martian, but I didn't get very far...just not my sort of read, I think.

Hope these turn out to be great reads for you.

  31. Nice list! I've only read Fangirl and Bossypants (both great--and I recommend the audiobook for Bossypants, if you're into audiobooks). Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? is also on my to-read list--I've heard great things about it. And Mindy Kaling is awesome. :)

  32. Interesting list! I loved Fangirl, but it's the only one I've read. I considered adding the Mindy Kaling book to my TTT as well.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Love your list! I hope you enjoy Fangirl! It's one of my favorites!

  34. *fan of your blog*
I would definitely recommend Splintered ^_^
Coldest girl in cold town was okay, not my favorite from Holly Black but still good.
I didn't get into the daughter of smoke and bone series but I did love the first book.
see my blog for some reviews if you're curious ^_^ happy reading!

  35. I loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone (and the whole series). It was very dark but the writing felt so magical to me & maybe it was a bit melodramatic in some places but there were some moments that hit me like a punch to the stomach.

Mindy Kaling's book was a really fun read - she's so conversational, it's like reading your best friend's journal. I liked it better than Bossypants, and I highly recommend it if you're a fan of Mindy in general. :)

  36. Heist Society is a really good book. I also want to read Splintered, Daughter of Smoke and Bone and These Broken Stars. All three of them could have been on my list this week, but there's so many others, too. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier!

  37. The cover of Beauty Queen is really interesting, I don't know if it's actually what I thought it's about because that would be very funny xD Regardless, I really need to read The Coldest Girl In Coldtown, Fangirl, Daughter of Smoke & Bone & Heist Society. They all sound very intriguing and definitely there are phenomenon hypes around a couple of these novels. The Martain has been on the rise lately, what's with all the booktubers talking about it. But I'm not a fan of the cover and out of space setting so I think I will pass.

P.S. Thanks for visiting my TTT. :D

    Happy reading,
    Kristy.

  38. Oh great list! I really enjoyed Bossypants- even though the cover creeps me out! I didn't really like Mindy Kaling's book though, I don't know why, I was just a bit bored! A lot of these I need to read also- DoSaB, Splintered, These Broken Stars, Fangirl, The Martian, are all on my TBR too!

  41. Daughters of smoke and bone was on my list as well. The only one I have read on your list is the coldest girl in cold town and I enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  43. Fangirl is wonderful. My TTT does overlap yours a bit. How cool.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Of your list, Fangirl is the only title I read and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. And I want to get into The Coldest Girl in Coldtown as well as The Martian.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I've been meaning to read The Coldest Girl in Cold Town and The Martian for ages! They look really good. I've read Fangirl, which was definitely not a bad read, but definitely not an amazing one either.
