Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Top Ten Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
I've thoroughly enjoyed attending the Bay Area Book Festival in Berkeley, California for four years in a row now. I'd definitely love to branch out and attend several other major annual book festivals across the nation as well. Below is my top ten list of book festivals I want to attend in the future.

Also, are there any other worthy book festivals you would recommend attending?
Oh wow! I didn't realize how many states have book festivals! Sadly none near me either. Hope you get to go to all of these some day!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
There's so many wonderful book festival around the country it is awesome!!
DeleteI'm planning to hit two of these this year! I was sick during last year's Baltimore Book Fest, but I went the tear before. It's pretty cool, and it's right down on the inner harbor. I'll try to take a bunch of pictures this year and post about it! I'm also planning to go to the DC Festival. I've never been to that one, so it'll be an adventure! There are definitely advantages to living in Baltimore!

Sounds like fun!! I'll have to remember to visit your blog later this year to read about your book festival adventures!!
DeleteThese all sound amazing. I hope you get to go to some. I wish we had more book festivals in my country.😟
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't have any book festival in your country, I hope you have a lot of indie bookstores that have author signing events!
DeleteI want to go to all of these!!!
ReplyDeleteThey sound fun don't they???
DeleteGoing to some sort of book con/bookish event is on my bucket list! I'm in Brazil and read books in english. Very few international authors come here for small events and they're usually held in the big cities (which is rather far away from me and can become unreasonably expensive to get there) :/
ReplyDeleteYou'll find the perfect book con for you!! It'll be an amazing experience you'll treasure!
DeleteGoing to a book festival is high on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteThey are so much fun, especially if you meet your favorite authors!!
DeleteHope you manage to make it to some of them :)
ReplyDeleteAmy x
Thank you!! Have attended any book festivals?
DeleteGreat topic! I haven't heard of book festivals!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Book festivals are loads of fun!!
DeleteI've never been to a book festival. I think it would be fun. I wish there was one in my state.
ReplyDeleteThey are loads of fun especially if they have an author attending you want to meet.
DeleteI have attended the LA Time Festival of Books many times. I would like to go to the one in Portland someday. I wonder what the one is Louisiana would be like.
ReplyDeleteMy only regret living in SoCal for decades was not attending the LA Times Festival of Books!! I bet it is amazing.
DeleteInteresting! I haven't heard of any of these lol. But I would love to go to them as well.
ReplyDeleteThere's so many more than just these book festivals... But these will be a big start for sure!
DeleteWhat an excellent idea for TTT... I'd love to attend these festivals!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I hope you make it them as well!
DeleteI have been to none of these. I feel really sad about that, because I love book festivals. I usually attend BookCon every year, because it is nearby, and I went to Utopia and YallFest in the past. Both were really fun.
ReplyDeleteHey, it sounds like you've attended some great events though!
DeleteSuch a unique topic choice! The only one I've been to is Northern Virginia Teen Book Fest, and it was good, but could have been better with lunch options and signing line speeds. I'd love to go to the Teen Book Fest in Texas someday, I think.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your festival experience!! And thanks for the compliment on my unique topic choice for this week's post.
DeleteAwesome topic! These ar probably all great but I've heard the most about the LA Times festival- sounds fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Glad you liked my unique topic for this week.
DeleteI've always wanted to go to the Baltimore Book Festival and it seems like I've missed my opportunity since the one really good friend I have that lived there recently moved to Boston :(
ReplyDeleteAlso, I would go to ANYTHING called a Book Fair!! Because HELLLLL YES!!!
Keeping fingers crossed that you'll one day make it the Baltimore Book Festival! Thanks for stopping by & leaving me a comment. :-)
DeleteI don't have the money to go to any book festivals sadly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by & leaving me a comment. :-)
DeleteThese all look amazing, I wish things like that were more a thing over here :( I hope you have fun if you get to go to any of those!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by & leaving me a comment. :-)
DeleteI need to find out if there are any festivals near me, any of those would be awesome. I don't really get to many author events, but I met my most favorite historian ever back in September and I am not sure any experience could top that!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to attend author events when you meet/see an author you admire at the event? There's nothing more thrilling!!
DeleteI’ve never been to a book festival, but I imagine that they’d be fun. I’d probably buy every single book at the festival.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment!!
DeleteOh I haven't been to any of these, or heard of them really. Wow I need to win the lottery and expand my book event radar!!! I hope you get to go to these.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Happy reading!
DeleteThese all sound so fun! I wish we had more (any) book festivals here!
ReplyDeleteHopefully, you'll make it to a book festival some day. I've been blessed to live in the SF Bay Area and have been able to attend the Bay Area Book Festival in Berkeley, California the past 4 years.
DeleteI'd just like to attend a book festival some day. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
You will!!
DeleteSeveral of those festivals look/sound pretty cool. :-) There's a big literature festival each year in Stavanger (Norway) that I've attended a few times and it's called "Kapittel". This year I might attend it with my workplace (a bookshop) as it last year had the responsibility of having a festival bookshop onsite of the festival.
ReplyDeleteThe literature festival in Stavanger sounds delightful!
DeleteI've been to the LA Times Festival of Books twice! It's fun but I wish there were more romance panels. :(
ReplyDeleteI grew up in San Diego and also lived in the Santa Barbara area for 16 years, but somehow managed to to make it to the LA Festival of Books. I wish I had before moving up to the SF Bay Area!
DeleteCool list! I've been to the library of Congress, but not their book festival. I'll have to check it out one day:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment!
DeleteThat's a lot of festivals!
ReplyDeleteAnd there's so many more of them!!
