Best Subscription Boxes For Book Lovers

I've toyed with the idea of subscribing to a book related subscription box, but have never followed through with this idea because there are just to many choices out there for book lovers that sound like good ones!

I recently discovered an article though Buzzfeed's website titled, 19 Of The Best Subscription Boxes For Book Lovers by Samantha Wieder. Click on the above link to check to see which ones made the list for the best subscription boxes for book lovers.

Wow, all the subscription boxes for book lovers mentioned in the above article sound really good. I could see myself signing up for several of them, which may not be great for my bank account!

If you've tried any subscription boxes for book lovers, please share with me in the comments section below which subscription you tried and your overall thoughts/feelings about it. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts.

  1. I only use one book subscription service: The Nervous Breakdown Book Club. (http://thenervousbreakdown.com/bookclub/.) I have remained a member for several years. I have not read all the books I have gotten from them but of the ones I have, most have been quite good. I have been introduced to authors I might have otherwise missed. There is a connected podcast, OtherPpl (http://otherppl.com/) where Brad Listi, the guy who runs both, interviews the authors of the book club books as well as many others. As an aspiring writer, I enjoy those because he talks with them about how they became published authors and what their writing life is like.

    1. I like the idea of discovering new to me authors through a book club subscriptions. The connected podcast to The Nervous Breakdown Book Club sounds delightful. I think it would be wonderful to hear how many of the authors became published and what their writing life is like as this type of thing interests me as well.
