50/50 Friday - First/Last Book Read in 2017

50/50 Friday is a meme hosted by Carrie @ The Butterfly Reads and Laura @ Blue Eye Books. This fun themed meme focuses on the opposite sides of books (best/worst, differing opinions, etc). Every week a new topic will give bloggers the chance to showcase their answers.

This week's topic is the
First/Last Book Read in 2017

The first book I read in 2017 was
The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly

  4. It looks like you started and ended the year in completely different ways! I'm sorry to hear you ended on sort of a low note with Virtually Scared. It's always nice to end on a high note but then again you seem to have the ability to read a good book at the beginning of every year :) Thanks for linking up!

  5. I like this 50/50. So I looked up in my reading log to find my first book in 2017 was a totally great one: A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles and my last book was an odd one by V S Naipaul, Mr Stone and the Knights Companion.

    1. I have a signed copy of A Gentleman in Moscow in my massive 'TBR' pile to read at some point. I have so many unread books it is silly! Hopefully, I'll get to this one soon... Like sometime this year. :-)
