Top Ten Tuesday - Books that start with the Word “THE” in the Title I want to Read in 2025!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Top Ten Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Below are ten audiobooks I have waiting to be enjoyed in my 'to be read' pile.I look forward to enjoying them in the future. Have you read any of the following books? Let me know in the comment section below.

1. The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

2. The Known World by Edward P. Jones

3. The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters

4. The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver

5. The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

6. The House Between Tides by Sara Maine

7. The Lace Widow by Mollie Ann Cox

8. The Rebel Nun by Marj Charlier

9. The Blackboard Jungle by Evan Hunter

10. The Shimmer by David Morrell

    1. Using the word 'The' seemed like the easiest choice for this week's TTT post. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment/ Happy reading!!

  2. I've read "The Lacuna" (5 stars) and "The Thirteenth Tale" (2 stars). I remember seeing a movie called "The Blackboard Jungle" when I was quite young (maybe 12 or 13) and it made a strong impression on me. I still remember it quite well.

    1. Thank you, Dorothy, for letting me know which books you've read from TTT post this week. I'm hoping "The Thirteenth Tale" will end up being a better read for me as I'd heard great things about it from another reader.

  9. That is also a great idea to deal with this topic, Lisa. There are so many books that start with THE. So, it's a great idea for next time when we need lots of books. I have read numbers 1,2, and 4. While they are all good reads, I suggest you start with "The Lacuna", one of my favourite books by one of my favourite authors.

    2. Just go with what interests you most at the time. Sometimes, even a great book doesn't look great when reading it at the wrong time.
