Top Ten Books I've Recently Added To My TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

I haven't been adding many books lately to my TBR, so my TTT list is short this week:

1. Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee
2. Only Time Will Tell by Jeffery Archer
3. Graveyard Shift by Angela Roquet
4. New Order by Fay Wolf (ARC)
5. She's Not There by Joy Fielding (ARC)
6. Charlotte Bronte: A Fiery Heart by Claire Harman (ARC)
7. The Martian by Andy Weir

What have you added to your TBR recently?

  2. I have a couple of these on my list. I read most of Go Set a Watchman and skimmed the rest. I will have to go back and give it the proper read that it deserves. It is nothing at all like To Kill a Mockingbird since the characters are grown and it is set in a later time period, but it is a decent read on its own accord.

    1. I've listened to the unabridged audio version of Go Set A Watchman already and reviewed it on my blog... I thought it was a good novel, but not as good as To Kill A Mockingbird. To me, Go Set A Watchman is a stand alone book.

As a side note, Reese Witherspoon does a wonderful job narrating Go Set A Watchman.

  3. I haven't added a ton either, the ones on my list were kinda from the last few months. Oh well not like I need more anyway ha ha. I see several intriguing ones on your list- I still haven't read The MArtian yet. :(

    1. I still can't believe I've seen the movie version of The Martian before reading the book!! I usually like to read the book first before seeing the movie version of the book. Speaking of books that have been made into a movie, I've heard that the movie version of The Martian has been nominated for best picture... I'll be rooting for it to win in that category.

    1. Thanks, I am hoping I'll love reading The Martian as much I enjoyed watching the movie version... I have the paperback version, but everyone has been saying how great the audio version of The Martian is... So, I'm thinking, in hindsight of course, that I should have obtained the audio version of The Martian!
