Celebrate the Holidays by Reading!!

  1. Oh, yes, Jólabókaflóð! I blogged about it a couple of years ago and it's been my favourite word ever since! It's always been like that in our family, as well, even though we have no connections to Iceland whatsoever. 😉

    2. I'm sure they have other qualities. As long as they let you read for as long as you like ...

      Merry Christmas.

    4. That's the most important thing, even if they don't share your hobby.

  3. That's the plan! Especially since we're staying home and not gathering to be safe. My husband and I are making for the first time our own tamales and sarmale (Romanian cabbage rolls). Then we plan to sit our butts in front of our fake fire place to read and drink ponche (Mexican punch).

I hope you are feeling well and are able to enjoy the holidays with your hubby! Merry Christmas!!!

    1. Merry Christmas to you and your husband! Sounds like you are having fun foodie plans, yum!

My hubby and I are celebrating Christmas at home by ourselves this year too verses heading down to SoCal to divide our time between his side of the family and mine due to the pandemic, of course.

My husband isn't an avid reader like myself... however, I have persuaded him to listen to an audiobook with me. My hubby has been a Rubik's Cube love for ages, so I downloaded Cubed: The Puzzle of Us All by Erno Rubik from Audible and we've begun listening to it together today! So far, I'm loving this audiobook more than I thought I would. Maybe I'll even write a his and her review of this audiobook.
