Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins

Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins is the 4th cozy mystery novel in the 'A Flower Shop Mystery Series'. I've read a few of the other novels in this cozy series, which I've enjoyed reading. So, I decided to give this one a go as I was looking for something on the lighter side to read.

Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins was a so-so read for me. Abby's cousin, Jillian, drove me nuts as she's an annoying character and so did one of the other minor characters, Karl. Some of the plot twists and turns for this novel were also a bit too much for me, which left me feeling meh overall. I still have 2 more novels in the 'A Flower Shop Mystery Series' in my 'tbr' pile. I'm hoping they'll be better reads.

Below is the plot summary for Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins from Amazon:
Abby has her hands full at her cousin Jillian's wedding as florist, bridesmaid, and grandma-sitter-all while wearing a hideous dress. Then the groom's 90-year-old grandmother goes missing from the reception. On her search, Abby finds the corpse of guest Jack Snyder. Now she must find out who killed Jack in the pulpit.
I am giving Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins a rating of 2 stars out of 5 stars.

Until my next post, happy reading!!

  1. This seems like a charming idea for a cozy mystery series. I hope the next entry is better than this one turned out to be.
