Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Top Ten Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Below is a random list of books I've read and reviewed here on my blog over the years1. Where the Lost Girls Go by R. J. Noonan
2. Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple
3. Nothing More Dangerous by Allen Eskens
4. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
5. I Am Livia by Phyllis T. Smith
6. Flight by Sherman Alexie
7. The Good Traitor by Ryan Quinn
8. Deadly Readings by Laura Bradford
9. May Day by Jess Lourey
10. The Good Girl by Mary Kubica
Have you read any of the above books?

I've read numbers 3 and 4 on your list and, like you, I couldn't tell you much about them now even though I thoroughly enjoyed both at the time. And that is not uncommon for me. I think it comes from constantly reading so I'm always focusing on the current plot.
ReplyDeleteDorothy, like you, I'm constantly reading so I'm always focusing on the current plot. Also, it's difficult to remember the plot sometimes when one reads so books each year.
DeleteOOh interesting topic! I feel like there are many books like this for me. I can remember some vague details about the story or whatnot and why I loved it but not much else! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Sounds like we're in the same boast then!
DeleteThe only one of these that I've read is Where'd You Go, Bernadette. And I thought that was a fun one. :D
ReplyDeleteI remember thinking it was fun too, but I just do not remember the details.
DeleteThis happens to me sometimes, too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like we're in the same boast then!
DeleteI've read #4. I read it a long time ago to see if I should add it to my classroom library. I teach Freshmen and Senior ELA. As soon as I put it on my shelf, it found a new home in a student's home library. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLol, about John Green's novel finding a new home in a student's home library.
DeleteI’ve not read any, I’ll have to read your reviews to see what interests me, thanks for sharing your #TTT
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Happy reading!
DeleteThat's the reason I write a short blurb over everything I read now. I can go back, read my review, and say, "Oh, yeah, now I remember!"
ReplyDeleteI do add the publisher's summary with each book review I post, but sometimes off the top of my head I may not remember much about the book.
