Top Ten Tuesday - Books On My Fall TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Here's a list of books on my Fall TBR List. Some of the books on my list are new books that have recently been released this Fall and some are not new book releases:

2. The Power of When: Discover Your Chronotype by Michael Breus
3. The Catcher In The Rye by J. D. Salinger DNF!! I am replacing this novel with The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins
4. Love In A Nutshell by Janet Evanovich & Dorien Kelly
5. Gilt By Association by Tamar Myers
6. Caleb's Crossing by Geraldine Brooks
8. A Skating Life: My Story by Dorothy Hamill
9. Eat Dirt by Josh Axe (finish reading this book)
10. The Fortune Cookie Chronicles: Adventures in the World of Chinese Food by Jennifer 8. Lee (finish reading this book)

  1. I finally read "The Catcher in the Rye" a year or two ago and was surprised how much I enjoyed it!

    1. The Catcher in the Rye is a reread for me for Banned Books Week 2016. I read the book 30 years ago in high school and loved it then... I am hoping I enjoy rereading it again as an adult.

  4. I'm a big fan of Catcher in the Rye, though I know a lot of people aren't big fans. It's one of the few classics I've read more than once. Hope you enjoy!

  5. Ooh I want to read The Fortune Cookie Chronicles. That one's new to me so thanks for sharing it! I love Asian food and so much is Americanized, I can't wait to learn more about the Asian food in America experience.

  6. I started An Astronaut's Guide To Life On Earth recently before I realized it had little to do with space and was just a series of moral platitudes about life. Spaceman looks like the real deal. Thanks for the recommendation.

  7. I wouldn't mind reading The Catcher in the Rye again and seeing if my feelings about Holden Caulfield have changes any from when I read it 15 years ago :) Thanks for stopping by my list!

  10. I haven't read that Brooks book yet--I've ranged pretty widely on how much I like her work. Stich n Bitch sounds fun; I used to knit before I had kids. The Power Of When also sounds interesting--I'm one of those chronically late people, and I know how much it can upset those around me. All in all I love the variety of this list!
