Friday Finds # 52

Friday Finds is a book meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Friday Finds is a chance to share and show off the books you discovered during the week and would like to add to your reading list...

Or a place to simply feature the books you've actually purchased throughout the week and have added to your to be read pile!

I came away with the following three books this week:

Lovebirds by Trevor Silvester
The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCamillo
How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by Julia Alvarez

Which books did you add to your reading pile/list this week?

  2. I'm familiar with many of DiCamillo's titles, but I'm unfamiliar with The Magician's Elephant. I had to look it up. That cover is beautiful.

    1. The Magician's Elephant was a new to me title as well! Elephants are (probably) my favorite exotic animal, so i couldn't resist buying this book to read. I recently read Larger Than Life by Jodi Picoult and loved this novella which features elephants in the storyline. I am currently reading a cozy mystery novel that takes place mainly at a circus and features elephants too. So, I'm on an elephant kick. :-)
