The Great Gatsby is 100-Years Old This Year!!!
I remember reading this classic novel decades ago. I don't remember much about the plot details about it... Let alone the writing.
I remember not liking the novel very much overall. Maybe I was simply too young to appreciate it?
I had to read this one in high school, and I did like it, but maybe that's because we'd just had to read a Hemingway novel that I really hated, and this one was better by comparison. ;D
I didn't like it either. I thought it *very* over rated....!
ReplyDeleteI have tried reading other works by F. Scott Fitzgerald and thought the same thing... Overrated! I am not an Ernest Hemingway fan either.
