The Books That Helped Shaped Neil DeGrasse Tyson's Childhood
I enjoyed watching this long video where Neil DeGrasse Tyson talks about the books that shaped his childhood. He had a great story about his encounter with Carl Sagan at the end of the video. Most of the books feature science in some way.
It's not a surprise that books about science were important in shaping his childhood and life choices.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise for sure. It was interesting to learn that Neil DeGrasse Tyson wasn't much of a fiction fan.
DeleteI'll have to watch this once I'm home! I've read most of NDF's books with the exception of his work on the military connection to astrophysics.
