Wow, I love the look of these fifteen playful, whimsical libraries found throughout the world!! I'd love to find myself reading in any one of the libraries featured in Alison Nastasi's article for Flavorwire titled The Most Playful Libraries in the World.
My favorite playful library? That's a difficult choice to make, but the library at The Soneva Kiri resort on Koh Kood Island in Thailand looks pretty, inviting along with home library for a family in Austin created by Sallie Trout.
Which library or libraries do you like the most?
I think I found the perfect hotel for book lovers!! It's called The Library Hotel and it's a luxury boutique hotel in New York City within walking distance from the New York Public Library.
What makes The Library Hotel so unique? The hotel's design is inspired by the Dewey Decimal System. The following quoted information comes from The Library Hotel's website:

Dewey Decimal System and each of the 60 rooms are uniquely adorned with a

In addition to The Library Hotel's 6,000+ books, their reading room offers a variety of delicious sounding snacks to enjoy while reading. In the evenings, there is a wine and cheese reception and a nightly turndown service, which includes Belgium chocolates.
The Library Hotel looks like a wonderful place to stay. If you're an avid reader like me, you may not want to ever leave the hotel itself during your stay in New York!

Seriously, if you're a book lover, who wouldn't want to live in any of the homes featured in this article? I liked the Triptyque Studio in Brazil, the “hovering” bookcase created by Travis Price Architects, and the Shelf-Pod house designed by Kazuya Morita Architecture Studio the most.
