I used to enjoy embroidering. It's been years since I took on such a project. Maybe I should try it again. I still have several pieces that I completed back in the day. More precious to me are a number of doilies, table runners, and the like that were completed by two of my aunts who were prodigious crocheters, embroiderers, and knitters. They are much more complex and beautiful than anything I ever attempted and I treasure them.

Yes, to the precious number of doilies, table runners, and so on made by your aunts. These things are to be cherished and treasured for sure. I would love to learn to tat doilies myself... Maybe some day I will learn this skill.
