September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month!!

In all my years of reading and blogging, I never knew that September is National Library Card Sign Up Month!!

I do have a library card to my public library, but I do not use it as often as I should. I need to change that though.

If you do not have a library card to your local public library, I encourage you to sign up for one this month. Libraries offer amazing resources in their communities.

Until my next post, happy reading!

  1. I have three library cards! One for the Burbank Library because I used to live there, one for the Glendale Library because it has a branch near my current house, and one for the Los Angeles Public Library though I hardly ever use that one. I average at least one trip to the library per week and would say that about half the books I read I get from the library. However, I did not know about National Library Card Sign Up Month!

    1. Wow, three library cards is fabulous!! I would love to visit more libraries in the LA Area. I've heard the main library in downtown LA is supposed to be beautiful and also the Cerritos Public Library is supposed to be beautiful too.

    2. The main LA library downtown is amazing and so is the South Pasadena library building. I haven't seen the Cerritos one. If you come down for a library tour let me know!

    3. I can imagine the South Pasadena Library being beautiful! I've had friends who've lived in the neighboring cities of San Marino and Arcadia and have enjoyed visiting both cities, The LA Arboretum in Arcadia and the Huntington Library, Gardens & Art Museum in San Marino are spectacular places to visit... I've also enjoyed visiting the Gamble House in Pasadena as well. There is so much to see, do, and explore in LA County. I'm sure doing a library tour is in the definite realm of possibility as my in-laws live in LA County.
