Top Ten Tuesday - Books I Want to Re-Read

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Top Ten Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I've done this post several times previously already. Some books are the same from previous posts. A few are new to the list.

1. The Master & Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov

2. The Hero of Our Time by Mikhail Lermontov

3. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne

4. East of Eden by John Steinbeck

5. Why We Can't Wait by Martin Luther King, Junior

6. The Familiar Dark by Amy Engel

7. The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel

8. All Is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker

9. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

10. Suggestible You by Erik Vance

Have you read any of the books mentioned in my post this week?

  1. OOh nice picks! These are mostly new to me ones. Some titles sound familiar but I know I've never read any of them! Hope you get to re-read some of these soon!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. I've read three of your books. It has been a while that I read East of Eden and Memoirs of a Geisha, so I might consider them for a re-read but The Master & Margarita has not been that long ago, so that would probably take a while before I consider it again. However, all three are great reads.
    Here is my list:

    1. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment!! I can understand why rereading The Master and Margarita would not be a reread at this time as you've already recently read it.

    2. There are just too many great books out there to re-read them every other year, right?

  3. I've only read the Verne and the Steinbeck books and loved them both. Especially Verne.

    1. It's been a while since I've read both of these novels.... Both are so wonderful. It would be difficult at this time to choose which novel I like more.

  4. I haven't read any of these! Though 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is on my TBR list. :D

    1. It's a phenomenal book! If you love nonfiction and want to read about the Civil Rights Movement from the perspective of a famous Civil Rights leader, then reading Why We Can't Wait by Martin Luther King, Jr. is a a MUST!

Why We Can't Wait by Martin Luther King, Jr. is very readable and gives great insight to what was going on at the time.

  7. The movie version of 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA scared the snot out of me when I was a kid. I don't think I could handle reading the book, even now! Ha ha. Enjoy your rereads!

    Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!
