  1. I follow rules 1 and 2 and wish I could live in a library or become one. LOL. No kindle for me, though.

    1. Since I recently (as in last year or maybe 2019???) I got rid of my Kindle, so I read or listen to books occasionally on my iPad. I only bring my iPad with me on out of town trips, which lately has been nonexistent due to covid-19.

    2. Interesting. Why did you get rid of your Kindle? Everyone tells me once you own one you're hooked ...

    3. The Kindle is awesome! However, it is redundant if you own an iPad, because you can download the Kindle app to the iPad and read ebooks that way. Plus, do so much more on the iPad... I can read/write emails, receive/send texts messages, listen to audiobooks via the Audible app, check/post to Facebook, check/post to Instagram, listen music, Facetime, surf the internet, play games, etc. etc. etc.

So, it didn't make sense for me keep my Kindle, when I can use the Kindle app on my iPad.

    4. Ah, I see, you didn't get rid of an ebook, just of the Kindle itself.

I have a tablet but don't use that much, easier, I'm just not that comfortable with it. I don't listen to audiobooks, play games on the internet, etc. So, I guess, I'll not be an ebook reader forever.

But thanks for the explanation, I can see it is alluring to many, just not to me.

    1. Me too!! I've read about library weddings and wish I'd known that was an option when my hubby and I were married.
